Dashpivot forms can be edited on Dashpivot Web depending on the template type (Timeline or Workflow) and the user's permission level. Timeline forms can be edited freely, while Workflow forms may have sections locked after signatures are applied. This article explains how to edit both template types, reset workflow stages, and how Dashpivot handles simultaneous and offline editing.

Once a section is signed, all preceding fields are locked.
You can only edit or add information below the signature line.
You may not see reset options depending on your permission settings.
All changes are tracked in the Show Activity panel.
Editing Constraints
Can multiple users edit the same form at the same time?
Dashpivot does not support multiple users editing the same form at the same time. If two users have the same form open and both save changes, the most recent save overwrites the earlier one — no merge occurs and no warning is shown before saving. There is currently no indicator that another user has the form open.
To avoid data loss, only one user should edit a form at a time. If multiple team members need to contribute to the same record, coordinate who is actively editing before opening the form.
If changes have been overwritten, use the Show Activity panel to view previous versions and revert to an earlier state if needed. See How to Revert a Form to a Previous Version in Dashpivot.
What happens if I edit a form offline and someone else edits it on Dashpivot Web?
When a form is opened on Sitemate Mobile while offline, a local draft is saved to the device. If another user edits and saves the same form on another device or on Dashpivot Web while the first device is offline, a conflict can occur when the offline device reconnects — the locally saved draft will upload and overwrite the more recent server version.
To reduce the risk of sync conflicts:
Close or discard a form on mobile after submitting it — do not leave it open in the background
If the app has been offline or unused for a period, do a pull-to-refresh on the forms list before opening any form
Avoid having the same form open on multiple devices at the same time
If a form has been overwritten by a stale offline draft, previous versions are preserved in Show Activity and can be restored. See How to Revert a Form to a Previous Version in Dashpivot.
