How to view changes made to a form on Dashpivot Web

Learn how to view changes made to a form for tracking form history and edits

Written by Adriana De Souza

The Show Activity feature on Dashpivot Web lets users see a full history of changes to a form — including who made edits, when edits were made, email interactions, and the current version. This helps teams track amendments and increases transparency when managing form records. This guide is for Dashpivot Web users who need to review form change history.

Prerequisites

Before you begin make sure you have the following:

  • Plan: All plan types

  • Permission: Org Member (or higher) for Home Folder forms; Team Member (or higher) for Team Folder forms

  • Skills Required: Dashpivot

  • Device Type: computer

  • Subscription: Dashpivot

📓 Note: To revert a form to a previous version, you must be an org, project, or team controller, or the form creator. All other roles can view form activity but will see the Revert button disabled.

Step-by-Step Instructions

  1. Open the form you want to view the activity for.

  2. In the top right-hand corner of the form, click Show Activity.

  3. To inspect changes between form versions, select Edited under the user’s name to reveal the specific changes. If the form was reverted to a previous version, this entry will appear as Edited v# (Reverted to v#), where the first number is the version that was active before the revert and the second is the version it was reverted to.

  4. (Optional) If you are an org, project, or team controller, or the form creator, click any version entry in the activity sidebar and select Preview this version to review and restore that version. See How to Revert a Form to a Previous Version in Dashpivot

  5. When finished, click Hide Activity to close the activity panel.
