Gearbelt Mobile Web allows workshop teams to access work orders, issues, schedule checks, and assets in their workspace directly from a mobile browser. Because GBMW runs in a web browser rather than a downloaded application, team members must first be invited to the workspace as a Gearbelt contributor. This article explains how to open the link from your email invite and log in for the first time, and how to switch between workspaces if you work across multiple.

Step-by-Step Instructions
For New User (no existing Sitemate account)
Your workspace admin will invite you to Gearbelt. You will receive an email invite from Gearbelt with a link to access your workspace.
Open the email on your phone and select the link. The Gearbelt Mobile Web login screen will open in your browser.
Log in with your Gearbelt email and password.
The first time you log in, you'll see a short welcome flow that orients you to the layout. Step through it.
You'll land on the Work Orders tab. This is the home of all your work.
For Existing Sitemate account holder (e.g. registered via Dashpivot)
You will receive a "set your password" email from Gearbelt instead of a standard invite.
Open the email on your phone and select the link. You will be taken to a page where you can set a password for Gearbelt.
Set your password and confirm it.
Once your password is set, log in to Gearbelt Mobile Web using your email and new password.
The first time you log in, you'll see a short welcome flow that orients you to the layout. Step through it.
You'll land on the Work Orders tab. This is the home of all your work.

Switching between workspaces
If you're a Gearbelt contributor in more than one workspace, you can switch between them without logging out.
Select the workspace switcher icon in the top-left corner of any screen in Gearbelt Mobile Web.
Select the workspace you want to switch to. Gearbelt Mobile Web will reload with the work, assets, issues, and schedule checks for that workspace.

What if I received a "set your password" link instead of a login link?
This happens when you already have a Sitemate account (for example, you are registered via Dashpivot). Follow the link in the email to set a password for Gearbelt, then log in with your email and new password. If the link has expired, ask your workspace admin to resend the invite from the Users section in Gearbelt Admin.
Do I need to download an app to access Gearbelt Mobile Web?
No. Gearbelt Mobile Web runs in a mobile browser â no app download required. Open the link from your email invite and it will load directly in your browser.
How do I get the link to Gearbelt Mobile Web?
