Gearbelt Mobile Web (GBMW) is the mobile experience your Gearbelt contributors use to carry out work on assets. Before they can access it, you need to invite them to your workspace as a Gearbelt contributor (a Member or Admin). This article explains how to invite Gearbelt contributors so they receive an email with the link to Gearbelt Mobile Web.
Prerequisites
Before you begin, make sure you have the following:

Step-by-Step Instructions
Go to the Users section under Admin in the left-hand navigation menu of your Gearbelt workspace.
Select Invite User in the top-right corner.
Enter the Gearbelt contributor's email address and select their role (Member or Admin). Both roles count as a Gearbelt contributor and grant access to Gearbelt Mobile Web.
Select Send.
The Gearbelt contributor will receive an email invite from Gearbelt. When they open the link on their phone, it will take them to the Gearbelt Mobile Web login screen, where they can log in with their Gearbelt credentials and start working.

Frequently asked questions (FAQs)
What's the difference between a Member and an Admin in Gearbelt?
Both roles are Gearbelt contributors and have access to Gearbelt Mobile Web. Admins have additional permissions to manage assets, schedules, and workspace settings on the Gearbelt desktop web app. Members can only carry out work.
What if the Gearbelt contributor didn't receive the invite email?
Ask them to check their spam or junk folder. If it's not there, resend the invite from the Users section in Gearbelt Admin.
Does the Gearbelt contributor need to download an app?
No. Gearbelt Mobile Web runs in a mobile browser — no app download required. We recommend they save the link to their home screen for quick access.
Can I invite multiple contributors at once?
At the moment, contributors need to be invited one at a time from the Users section.
