Gearbelt Mobile App is now available on the Apple App Store and Google Play, giving mechanics a native mobile experience for managing work orders, issues, schedule checks, assets, and QR scanning. The app is available to all Gearbelt clients.
If you currently use Gearbelt Mobile Web, nothing changes for you — the native app is an additional option, not a migration. Your existing browser-based workflows are unaffected.

Step-by-Step Instructions
Download on iPhone (App Store)
Open the App Store on your iPhone.
Tap the Search icon in the bottom right corner.
Type Gearbelt in the search bar and tap Search.
Locate the Gearbelt app in the results and tap Get.
Authenticate with Face ID, Touch ID, or your Apple ID password to confirm the download.
Once the download is complete, tap Open.
Log in using your Sitemate Start credentials (your email and password).
You'll land on the Work Orders tab — this is the home of all your work.
Download on Android (Google Play)
Open the Google Play Store on your Android device.
Tap the search bar at the top of the screen.
Type Gearbelt and tap Search.
Locate the Gearbelt app in the results and tap Install.
Once the installation is complete, tap Open.
Log in using your Sitemate Start credentials (your email and password).
You'll land on the Work Orders tab — this is the home of all your work.
📱 What you can do in the Gearbelt Mobile App
The Gearbelt native app gives you access to the same workflows as Gearbelt Mobile Web:
View, search, sort, and filter work orders
Create and resolve issues on assets
Create repair records linked to issues
View and complete schedule checks by submitting the schedule form
Browse assets in your workspace
Create work orders directly in the app
Scan an asset QR code to open its profile directly
Notes
The Gearbelt app requires an internet connection to load and submit work. Full offline support is not available. The app includes a network awareness banner that pauses activity when connectivity is lost and resumes automatically when it is restored.
If you currently access Gearbelt through Gearbelt Mobile Web in your browser, you can continue doing so. The native app is an upgrade — not a migration. Nothing about your existing workflow breaks.
You log in to the Gearbelt app with your Sitemate Start credentials — the same email and password you use for Gearbelt Mobile Web.
