In Gearbelt, schedule checks can be added to a work order to group planned maintenance with the relevant asset. Adding schedule checks to a work order helps assign and track inspection or service tasks alongside any issues, keeping all related work in one place.
Prerequisites
Before you begin make sure you have the following:
Plan: All Plan Types
Permission: Contributor
Skills Required: Gearbelt Navigation
Device Type: Computer
Subscription: Gearbelt
Step-by-Step Instructions
Go to Work Orders in the left-hand navigation menu.
Click + Create Work Order.
Search for and select an Asset.
Under Schedule Checks, select the schedule check you want to include. You can filter by Open or Closed status, or search by name.
If a schedule check already belongs to another work order, this will be shown in the Work Order column. You can leave it or remove it from the other work order first.
Complete the remaining details — Users, Priority, Due Date, Instructions, PO Reference, and Comments as needed.
Click Save.
Notes
Schedule Checks and Issues are shown in separate dedicated views within the work order drawer.
A schedule check can only be actively assigned to one work order at a time. If it belongs to another work order, you'll need to remove it from there first before adding it here.
Completing a schedule check from within a work order will automatically close it across any other work order it appears in.
