How to Update Your Profile Picture in the Sitemate Mobile App

Learn how to change your profile picture in the Sitemate mobile app.

Your profile picture in the Sitemate mobile app helps identify you across the platform when completing forms and activities. It is also used for on-site identification through the Sitemate ID QR code feature. You can update your profile picture at any time through your profile settings in the Sitemate mobile app.

Prerequisites

Before you begin make sure you have the following:

  • A Sitemate subscription

  • Permission to access and edit your own user profile

  • A mobile device (phone or tablet)

  • The Sitemate app installed

Step-by-Step Instructions

  1. Open the Sitemate app.

  2. Tap Edit Profile.

  3. Tap your Edit profile photo.

  4. Click Take Photo to capture your image.

  5. Tap Retake or Save.

Notes

  • When signing up for the first time, you can choose not to add a profile photo. Wait a few seconds for the Skip button to appear, then select it.

  • Your phone number in the Sitemate App and Dashpivot must exactly match for the profile photo to sync across both platforms. If the numbers differ, the photo will not update in Dashpivot.

  • Adding a profile photo is optional unless you want to use the Sitemate ID QR code feature for on-site identification.

  • If a photo is provided, it is used to generate your Sitemate ID so others can visually verify your identity.

  • You can update or delete your profile photo at any time, giving you full control over your data.

  • You can continue using Sitemate for form submissions without a profile photo, but the Sitemate ID feature will not be available.
