Can I add attachments to a form on Dashpivot Web?

Learn if and how you can add attachments to a form when using Dashpivot Web

Written by Adriana De Souza

Dashpivot Web forms allow you to include supporting documents as part of your form submissions. These attachments help ensure all relevant files are stored together with the form record.

Direct Answer

Yes, you can add attachments to a form on Dashpivot Web. There’s a built-in attachments section at the bottom of every form where you can upload supported files.

Please note:

  • PDF uploads are available on all plans, including Free Trial accounts.

  • Excel and CSV file uploads are only available on paid plans.

Step-by-Step Instructions / How It Works

  1. Open the form you want to submit or edit in Dashpivot Web or Mobile.

  2. Scroll to the bottom of the form — you’ll see an Add File button or attachments area.

  3. Click or tap the button to upload files from your device.

  4. Select the file(s) you want to attach. They’ll be added to the form when it’s submitted or saved.

You can also upload supported files:

  • Within tables

  • In Form Attachments

  • In Template Attachments

Supported File Types

The following file types are supported for attachments:

  • PDF (.pdf) -Available on all plans

  • Excel (.xlsx, .xls, .xlsm) -Paid Plans Only

  • If you need to include unsupported file types, consider converting them to PDF first or using photo fields for image uploads where applicable.
