Dashpivot Web allows users to attach supporting documents directly to form submissions. Attachments are included as part of the form or template data.

Direct Answer

Only PDF files are accepted when uploading attachments in Dashpivot Web forms. The PDF must be a standard file without password protection or encryption.

Step-by-Step Instructions / How It Works

  • Open a form or template in Dashpivot Web.

  • Use the Attachment button at the bottom of the form, or add a Table field with the column type set to Attachment.

  • Upload a PDF file as part of the submission.

  • For Site Diaries, open the relevant entry and upload the PDF in the Attachment section at the bottom of the page.

Limitations or Alternatives

  • Only PDF files are supported.

  • Password-protected or encrypted PDFs cannot be uploaded.

Tip: Tools such as Adobe Acrobat, as well as free online tools, can be used to remove passwords from PDFs. Adobe’s guide is available here:

  • Word documents, spreadsheets, and image files are not supported.

  • Remove any password or encryption from the PDF before uploading to avoid processing errors.
