Attachment File Size Limits on Dashpivot

Learn about the recommended and enforced file size limits for attachments on Dashpivot Web and Mobile.

Written by Nina Yang

Dashpivot supports file attachments across forms, lists, and registers on both web and mobile. To ensure attachments upload, display, and export reliably, keep files within the recommended size limits outlined below.

Why file size matters for exports

Large file attachments — particularly PDFs over 50MB — can cause PDF exports to time out. To avoid export issues, keep attachments within the recommended limits above.

If a form with a large attachment fails to export as a PDF, you can:

  1. Export the form without the attachment.

  2. Merge the exported PDF and the attachment manually using a tool like Preview (Mac) or Adobe Acrobat.

Notes

  • File size limits on mobile are enforced at upload — files above the limit will not upload.

  • For best results across upload, display, and export, keep all attachments under 50MB regardless of platform.

  • List attachment file sizes are checked at upload. For form attachments, there is no upload restriction — however, files over 50MB may cause export issues.
