PDF file size in Dashpivot Web is typically influenced by attached photos and how they are formatted in the export.
Direct Answer
No, not at the moment. Dashpivot Web does not include a built-in PDF compression feature, but you can reduce file size using an online compression tool or by adjusting photo layout settings.
Step-by-Step Instructions / How It Works
Use an online PDF compression tool
Download your PDF from Dashpivot Web.
Upload it to a free online PDF compression tool (for example, Adobe).
Compress and download the reduced file.
Compressed files are generally easier to store, share, and manage.
Adjust photos per page in the template
You can control how photos appear at the back of the PDF in one of the following arrangements:
None
1 photo per page (includes metadata such as date stamp and GPS location)
2 photos per page
4 photos per page
6 photos per page
8 photos per page
10 photos per page
The default setting is 1 photo per page.
To change this setting:
Click Edit Template.
Click Settings.
Scroll to Photos per page in PDF downloads.
Select the number of photos per page.
Click Save for the changes to take effect.
Limitations or Alternatives
There is no internal compression option within Dashpivot Web.
This photo setting applies to all forms created with that template, regardless of template version.
