Ongoing Submission Sitemate Links let anyone submit forms via the free Sitemate app without needing a Dashpivot account. This works well for processes like Take 5s, enabling your workforce to complete forms electronically and submit them directly into your Dashpivot account. All submitted Take 5 records are automatically organized into a register in Dashpivot, making them easy to search and filter.
📓 Please note: while the Sitemate app is free to download, setting up an Ongoing Sitemate Submission Link for Take 5s means that people submitting forms will become Sitemate Paid Users. They will not have access to Dashpivot — they only use the Sitemate app to submit Take 5s into your Dashpivot account.
Tutorial
How to create a Sitemate Link for Take 5s
Go to the team folder where you want your Take 5s to be submitted
Go to the Users section
Go to Sitemate Users > Paid
Under Sitemate Links, click Create Link
Give your link a name and select your Take 5 template
Click Create
Note: if you don't have a Take 5 template yet, you can access a free one from the Public Template Library.
Once created, distribute the Sitemate Link to the relevant personnel so they can start submitting Take 5s.
How to get workers to submit Take 5s
Send the newly created link to the relevant people so they can start submitting. There are two options:
Copy the link and send it as a URL — for example, via email or text message
Download a QR code poster that opens the link when scanned with a smartphone, and stick it on the wall of your site or office
When someone clicks the link or scans the QR poster, the Take 5 template is added to their Sitemate app and they become a Sitemate Paid User.
Use Storm AI Templates to build your Take 5 forms faster
Storm can generate a draft Take 5 form based on a simple prompt. For example: "Create a Take 5 pre-start safety checklist for construction site workers, including hazard identification, risk controls, and a sign-off field." You can then edit the generated template to match your site requirements.
