How to Manage Site Check-ins via the Sitemate App on Dashpivot

Enable anyone arriving on site to complete a digital check-in via the free Sitemate app — no Dashpivot account needed — and automatically build a searchable register of all site visits in Dashpivot.

Single Submission Sitemate Links let anyone submit a form via the free Sitemate app without needing a Dashpivot account. This works well for site check-ins, enabling all personnel arriving at a location to log their visit electronically and submit it directly into your Dashpivot account. All submitted records are automatically organized into a register in Dashpivot, making them easy to search and filter when needed.

📓 Please note: none of the people checking in need to be paid Dashpivot users — they use the free Sitemate app to complete site check-ins at no cost.

How to create a Single Submission Sitemate Link for site check-ins

  1. Go to the team folder where you want your check-in records to be submitted

  2. Go to the Templates section

  3. Go to the Links tab

  4. Make sure you are in the Single Submission section (this is the default). If you are in the Ongoing Submission section and create a link, every person who completes a site check-in will become a paid Sitemate Form User

  5. Click Create Link

  6. Give your link a name and select your site check-in template

  7. Click Create

Note: if you don't have a site check-in template yet, you can access a free one from the Public Template Library.

How to get workers to complete a site check-in

Once created, download and print the QR code poster and stick it on the wall at your site or office — feel free to print multiple copies. When someone scans the poster with their smartphone, it opens the link and adds the site check-in form to their phone so they can complete and submit it straight away.

You can also copy the link and send it directly via email or text message if preferred.

Use Storm AI Templates to build your site check-in forms faster

Storm can generate a draft site check-in form based on a simple prompt. For example: "Create a site check-in form for a construction site including visitor name, company, purpose of visit, time of arrival, and acknowledgement of site rules." You can then edit the generated template to match your site requirements.
