The search bar in Gearbelt registers filters results by matching your search term against each record's title. The record title is drawn from answers entered into single-line and multi-line text fields in the underlying form.

Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs)
Q: Can I search across all registers at once?
A: No. The search bar is specific to each register and must be used within each one separately.
Q: Does the search bar match partial words?
A: Yes. Partial matches will still return relevant results.
Q: Why isn't my record appearing in search results?
A: The search bar matches against the record title, drawn from single-line and multi-line text field answers. If the form doesn't include those field types, the record may not have a searchable title.
Q: Can I combine search with filters?
A: Yes. You can use the search bar alongside column filters to further narrow down results.
