When working with lots of forms in Dashpivot Web, the Register View shows all form entries for a selected template in a table format. To narrow down and find specific data fast, you can use the search and filter tools built into the Register View. This guide explains how to use those controls to filter your form records efficiently.

Step-by-Step Instructions
In Dashpivot Web, open the template and switch to the Register view.
Click the ⋯ (ellipsis) icon on the column header you want to filter by, then select Filter from the menu.
Set your desired filter parameters.
Click Apply Filter to only show forms that meet your criteria.
Repeat for other columns if you want to apply multiple filters at once.
What You Can Filter On
You can currently filter forms using these fields:
The person who created the form
Creation date of the form
Any date fields on the form
List fields on the form
List-type columns in default tables
Text fields on the form
Manual Sign fields
Note: We strongly recommend using these fields on your template, so you can make the most of the filters we have available. Only Manual Sign signature fields support filtering. Other signature types — such as Approval Signature — do not support filtering in the Register View.
Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs)
Q: Can I filter by multiple columns at once?
A: Yes. You can apply filters to multiple columns simultaneously. Each filter stacks on top of the other, so only forms that meet all active filter criteria will be shown.
Q: Can I filter by data inside a table field?
A: Table field data cannot be filtered directly in the Register, except for List columns in Default tables. To filter other table data, export the register as a CSV file and filter it in Excel.
Q: Can I sort and filter at the same time?
A: Yes. Sorting and filtering work independently — you can apply filters to narrow down results and sort the remaining rows at the same time.
Q: How do I remove a filter I've applied?
A: Click the ⋯ (ellipsis) icon on the filtered column header, select Filter, and clear the active filter parameters, then click Apply Filter to reset.
Q: Can I filter by who signed a form?
A: Yes — if the form uses a Manual Sign field. You can filter the Manual Sign column by the signer's Name or Company. Matching is partial and case-insensitive, so entering "smith" will return results such as "John Smithson". Each Manual Sign field has its own independent filter, and filters persist across page reloads. Note that other signature types, such as Approval Signature, do not support filtering.
