What fields can I filter on with the Register View in Dashpivot?

Written by Adriana De Souza

The Register View includes filtering options that allow users to narrow down records based on specific fields and metadata.

Filters for the register view are available only on the following fields:

  • Created By

  • Created Date

  • Workflow Column

  • Form Number

  • Date fields

  • List fields

  • Text fields

  • Yes/No fields

  • Manual Sign fields

Filtering in the Register View is a Dashpivot capability that allows users to refine which records are shown based on selected fields.

What it’s used for

It’s used to narrow register results so users can focus on specific records that match certain criteria, such as status, dates, or other available fields.

When to use it

Use filtering in the Register View when working with large volumes of records and you need to quickly find or review a subset of relevant data.

Note:

  • Filters are also available with information coming from Default tables (provided the field type within the table is either: Date, Time, List, Number or Text).

  • You are unable to filter any information that is coming from a Prefilled table.

  • Only Manual Sign signature fields support filtering. Other signature types such as Approval Signature cannot be filtered.
