How do I add or reduce licences on my Dashpivot subscription?

Learn how to add or reduce Dashpivot licences on your subscription, including how licence blocks work and when to contact your Account Manager.

Written by Nina Yang

Adding or reducing licences on your Dashpivot subscription is a billing change that is managed by your Account Manager. This is separate from removing a member's access in the workspace, which you can do yourself at any time.

What is a license block?

Dashpivot licences are added and reduced in blocks — a minimum number of licences per change — rather than one at a time. The block size depends on your company size.

💡 For a full breakdown of licence block sizes by company size, see the Dashpivot pricing page.

Adding licences

If your team is growing and you need more licences, contact your Account Manager. They will add a block of licences to your subscription based on your company size.

Reducing licences

If your team has reduced in size and you need fewer licences, contact your Account Manager. Reductions follow the same block logic as additions — licences are reduced by the minimum block size for your company size.

Removing a member vs. reducing licences

Removing a member from your Dashpivot workspace removes their access but does not reduce your contracted licence count. Your subscription stays the same until a formal licence reduction is processed by your Account Manager.

To remove a member from your workspace, see How to Remove Users from Dashpivot Web.

💡 To check how many licences you currently have used vs. available, see How to View Number of Used Licenses vs Available Licenses on Dashpivot Web.
