Safety reports are structured records used to document and monitor safety activities, observations, and incidents on a worksite. These can include safety inspections, toolbox talks, hazard reports, incident reports, PPE compliance checks, and corrective actions. They help maintain a safe working environment, support compliance, and reduce risk.
An incident report is a type of safety report that captures unexpected events that cause—or could cause—injury, equipment damage, environmental impact, or work disruption. These reports help document what happened, identify root causes, and prevent recurrence.
