Connect Microsoft Excel to Flowsite on Windows to automatically pull Dashpivot form data into your spreadsheets for real-time reporting. You'll need your Flowsite URL, Username, and Password from the Flowsite Destination section before you begin.

Before you begin make sure you have the following:

Step-by-Step Instructions
Open your Excel file.
Go to the Data tab.
Select the From Web icon.
Paste the URL into the data source. Ensure Basic is selected, then click OK.
Click Basic on the left, then copy and paste the Username and Password from the Flowsite Destination section. In the dropdown, select the option that matches the URL you entered — it will show the same link extension as your Flowsite URL.
Click the Connect button.
If Excel shows a "Please specify a privacy level for each data source" pop-up, go to Query Options > Privacy and either:
Select Ignore privacy levels — recommended for most setups; allows the query to run without restrictions.
Select Organizational from the dropdown — use this if you want to restrict access to people within your organisation only.
Click OK to continue.
In the preview popup, select Transform Data to open Power Query.
Clean up the data using Power Query as needed (for example removing columns or filling down data), then click Close and Load to save and load the data into Excel.
Repeat the process for all your flows.
Notes
You will need the URL, Username, and Password provided during flow creation.
You can set or update the data refresh frequency and timing within the Flow Editor.
You can manually trigger the flow for an immediate refresh, which is useful for testing.
This process applies to Windows devices only.
The privacy levels pop-up is a Microsoft Power Query dialog — it is not controlled by Flowsite. If you see it, follow the guidance in Step 7 above.
FAQs
Where do I find my Flowsite URL, Username, and Password?
These are found in the Flowsite Destination section of your flow. Open your flow in Flowsite, navigate to the Destination tab, and copy the credentials from there.
Why isn't my data refreshing in Excel?
Check that your flow has run recently in Flowsite (Runs tab), then trigger a manual refresh in Excel via Data > Refresh All. See Troubleshooting Dashpivot Data Not Syncing to Excel via Flowsite for more.
Does this work on Mac?
