How to Export Gearbelt Inspection Records of an Asset

Exporting inspection records for a specific asset in Gearbelt allows you to share documentation, prepare for audits, maintain offline backups, or analyse inspection data externally. You can export records directly from either the Assets section or the Inspections section, depending on your workflow. This guide explains both methods.

Prerequisites

Before you begin make sure you have the following:

  • Plan: All Plan Types

  • Permission: Gearbelt Contributor

  • Skills Required: Gearbelt Navigation

  • Device Type: computer

  • Subscription: Gearbelt

Step-by-Step Instructions

Export inspection records in CSV from the Assets section

  1. Go to the Assets section.

  2. Select the specific asset you need to export inspection records for.

  3. Go to the Inspection Records section.

  4. Select the inspection records you need to export. You can choose specific records or tick the checkbox beside the column header to select all.

  5. Click Download CSV.

  1. Go to the Inspections section.

  2. Use the filter in the Assets column to find the asset.

  3. Enter the name of the asset and click Apply Filter.

  4. Select the inspection records you need to export. You can select specific records or tick the checkbox beside the inspection records column header to select all.

  5. Click Download CSV.

Tip:

You can modify your exported data by adjusting the columns in the current register view. Click Edit Columns and choose which columns you want to be visible before exporting.
