Dropdown lists can be used in your Gearbelt templates to allow users to select items. The lists can be sourced from your recorded lists (see here how to create lists) or manually set up in the template.
Prerequisites
Before you begin make sure you have the following:
Plan: FreeTrial, Standard, Pro
Permission: User
Skills Required: Gearbelt Navigation
Device Type: computer
Subscription: Gearbelt
Step-by-Step Instructions
Access the relevant form template in the Form Builder.
Drag and drop the Dropdown field into the desired location in your form template.
Click the Dropdown field to open the configuration pane on the right-hand side.
Configure the following settings as required:
Label: Enter the field name.
Required checkbox: Select to make the field mandatory when completing the form.
Source: Choose where the list data will come from.
Manual Typed: Manually enter items in the Liste items text box
Linked List: Select from lists stored in your workspace under the Lists section.
Click Save to apply your changes to the form template.
