In Gearbelt, you can update your forms to ensure your team continues capturing the correct information. This helps maintain accuracy, improve efficiency, and keep inspections aligned with current requirements. This guide explains how to edit an existing inspection form template using the Form Builder in Gearbelt.

Prerequisites

Before you begin make sure you have the following:

  • Plan: FreeTrial, Standard, Pro

  • Skills Required: Gearbelt Navigation

  • Device Type: computer

  • Subscription: Gearbelt

Step-by-Step Instructions

  1. Go to the Inspections section under Management in the left-hand navigation menu.

  2. Navigate to the Inspection Forms tab in the top menu.

  3. Select the inspection form template you would like to update and click Edit Form.

  4. In the Form Builder, update your form template as required.

📓 Note: Once you have saved changes to this form template, you can view a before-and-after comparison of template versions directly in the Form Builder. Added elements are highlighted in green, removed elements in red, and moved elements in blue or orange.
