Gearbelt Contributors are internal users who access your Gearbelt workspace. There are two permission levels: Admin and Member.
Use Admin for full workspace control, and Member for restricted access that limits users to their own records and safe actions.
Admin
Admin is the highest permission level available for Gearbelt Contributors. Admins can:
View: forms, activity, assets, lists, locations, users, schedules, QR codes, and compliance documents
Edit: form templates, asset lists, lists, locations, users, contacts, schedules, QR codes, and compliance documents
Set and manage deployment rules
Add or remove users
Share access links
Export data
Manage organisation settings, including the organisation logo and brand colour
Member
Member is a restricted permission level for Gearbelt Contributors. Members can:
View: assets, documents, issues, inspection records, repair records, schedule form records, schedule checks, work orders, and location & reading logs
View only: schedules, deployment rules, form templates, settings, and the users page
Create: documents, issues, inspection records, repair records, work orders, and location & reading logs
Edit: their own documents, issues, inspection records, repair records, schedule form records, schedule checks, and work orders
Delete: their own issues, inspection records, repair records, and schedule form records
Complete schedule checks
Members can only edit and delete records they've created themselves. They cannot invite or remove users, void or delete work orders, or change workspace settings.

How do I change a Contributor's permission level?
Go to the Users page and update their role from Admin to Member (or vice versa).

Can a Member invite other users?
No. Members can only view the Users page. Only Admins can invite or remove users.
Can a Member delete another user's records?
No. Members can only delete records they created themselves.
