In Gearbelt, Work Orders can be assigned to mechanics for tasks such as repairs or scheduled maintenance. Mechanics access these Work Orders through the Gearbelt Web App, complete the required work, and submit the linked forms. This keeps maintenance activities recorded and traceable in one place.
Prerequisites
Before you begin make sure you have the following:
Plan: All Plan Types
Permission: Gearbelt Contributor
Skills Required: Gearbelt Navigation
Device Type: computer/browser
Step-by-Step Instructions
Click the link to the Gearbelt Operator Web app.
Select Work Order.
Note: You must have assigned work orders to continue.
Select the relevant work order you want to complete.
View the recorded issues and services for the work order and select the item you want to start completing.
Open the repair or schedule form with the asset and project already pre-filled based on the selected item.
Complete the form and select Submit.
Repeat the process for all items listed in the work order.
