If you have an existing asset register or asset list, you can bulk import them into Gearbelt using the provided import template. Bulk importing allows you to quickly upload multiple assets at once, saving time and ensuring your asset register is set up efficiently. This guide explains how to download the template, complete it, and import your assets into Gearbelt.
Prerequisites
Before you begin make sure you have the following:
Plan: FreeTrial, Standard, Pro
Skills Required: Gearbelt Navigation
Device Type: computer
Subscription: Gearbelt
Step-by-Step Instructions
Go to the Assets section.
Click Upload Assets at the top-right of the Assets table.
Select Download Excel template to download the template file.
Open the downloaded Excel file.
Enter your asset details into the template and save your changes.
Return to the Upload Assets section in Gearbelt.
Click the Upload document box.
Select the updated template file from your computer.
Confirm the file has uploaded correctly and click Import at the bottom of the page to complete the process.
