In Gearbelt, asset-specific QR codes are used to uniquely identify and access information about individual assets in the field. These QR codes make it fast and simple for team members to check records for a specific asset, log issues or inspections, access manuals or service history, and report issues or trigger maintenance workflows.

Before you begin make sure you have the following:

Step-by-Step Instructions
Go to the Assets section.
Click the QR icon and select Generate QR Codes.
In the Generate QR Codes pop-up window, select one of the following options:
Asset QR Codes: Generate a PDF containing the QR codes for all your assets.
Blank QR Codes: Generate a PDF containing blank QR codes that can be assigned to assets later.
Download and print the QR codes.
Attach the printed QR codes to your assets so users can access the asset profile and submit related forms.
