You may need to generate a QR code for a specific asset when adding a new item, replacing a damaged or lost QR code, or if one was not previously printed. Gearbelt allows you to generate QR codes for selected assets without generating codes for your entire asset list. This guide explains how to generate a QR code for a single asset from both the Assets list and the Asset Overview.

Step-by-Step Instructions
Generate a QR Code for a Single Asset from the Assets List
Go to the Assets section.
Select the asset for which you would like to generate a QR code.
Click Generate QR Codes.
In the pop-up window, save the generated QR code as a PDF or print it directly.
You can select multiple assets using the checkboxes to generate QR codes for those specific assets.

Generate a QR Code for a Single Asset from the Asset Overview
Select the asset for which you would like to generate a QR code.
You will be taken to the Overview section.
Hover over the QR code beside the asset photo.
Click the download button.
Scan the QR code directly from the overview section or save it as a PDF.
