How to Un-Deploy a List on Dashpivot Web

Learn how to remove a list from projects so it no longer deploys specific values in Dashpivot Web

Written by Adriana De Souza

Un-deploying a list in Dashpivot Web removes its project-specific deployments that were previously set up via the List Library. When a list is un-deployed from one or more projects, the projects will no longer use the project-specific child lists for that list — instead, forms and templates will refer back to the original list in the List Library. This is useful when projects no longer need custom list data and should revert to using the parent list values.

Prerequisites

Before you begin make sure you have the following:

  • Plan: All Plan Types

  • Permission:

    • Home Folder (Un-deploy from List Library) – Org Controller

    • Project Folder (Un-deploy from Project Folder) – Project Controller (or higher).

  • Skills Required: Dashpivot

  • Device Type: Computer

  • Subscription: Dashpivot

Step-by-Step Instructions

  1. Go to your Home Folder > List Library in Dashpivot Web.

  2. Locate the list you previously deployed to projects.

  3. Click Manage Deployment on the list.

  4. In the deployment modal, uncheck the projects you no longer want the list deployed to.

  5. Click Apply Changes.

Note: If you are un-deploying lists in bulk, click Undeploy & select the folders you wish to remove the list from.
