How to Archive and Restore List Items on Dashpivot Web

Archiving and restoring list items in Dashpivot Web allows you to remove outdated or irrelevant items from active use without permanently deleting them. Archived items are moved to a separate tab where they can be restored if needed, helping you maintain data integrity while keeping lists organised.

Prerequisites

Before you begin make sure you have the following:

  • Plan: All Plan Types

  • Permission:

    • Home Folder (List Library) – Organisation Controller (or higher)

    • Project Folder – Project Controller (or higher).

  • Skills Required: Dashpivot

  • Device Type: Computer

  • Subscription: Dashpivot

Step-by-Step Instructions

Archive List Items

  1. Go to Home Folder > List Library.

  2. Open the relevant list.

  3. Select the item(s) you want to archive using the left-hand side checkboxes.

  4. Click Archive.

The selected items will be moved to the Archived tab.

Restore List Items

  1. Open the relevant list in the List Library.

  2. Go to the Archived tab.

  3. Select the item(s) you want to restore.

  4. Click Restore.

The restored items will move back to the active list.

Note:

  • Archiving list items that are deployed to project folders will also archive the list items and any associated list properties.
