Step-by-Step Instructions
Go to Analytics in Dashpivot and open an existing chart or create a new one.
Locate the Data section in the chart settings panel.
Use the Timeframe dropdown to select the period you want to view, such as all time, current week, current month, last week, last quarter, or last year.
Observe the chart updating automatically when a different timeframe is selected.
Use the Interval dropdown to control how the data is grouped on the chart.
Select an interval such as daily, weekly, monthly, or yearly to change how data is summarised on the x-axis.
Adjust the interval to improve readability if the chart appears cluttered.
Note that Analytics charts use live data and automatically update as time periods change.
Notes
Analytics Data Settings apply to all charts and dashboards using the selected template.
Only templates from the Template Library can be configured.
Changes to data settings affect future Analytics reporting for the template.
Data settings help ensure consistent grouping across projects, assets, and teams.
When creating an Analytics chart, you can amend the data settings to further configure and view information that is relevant to you.
There are two data settings you can adjust:
Timeframe: Selects the time period used to view data, such as current month, last week, or last quarter.
Interval: Determines how data is summarised, such as daily, weekly, monthly, or yearly.
