How to Set Up the Analytics Display Settings on Dashpivot Web

Dashpivot Web provides Analytics Visualise settings that allow users to configure how analytics data is displayed. These settings control visualisation options within Analytics to support clearer data presentation. This article explains how to access and set up the Analytics Visualise settings on Dashpivot Web.

Prerequisites

Before you begin make sure you have the following:

  • Plan: Standard

  • Permission: Org Controller

  • Skills Required: Dashpivot

  • Device Type: Computer

  • Subscription: Dashpivot

Step-by-Step Instructions

  1. Log in to Dashpivot Web on a computer.

  2. Click Analytics from the main menu.

  3. Select Visualise.

  4. Click Settings.

  5. Configure the required Analytics Visualise settings.

There are two visual settings you can adjust:

Show As

This lets you choose how the data is displayed, such as a bar chart or line chart. The chart options available depend on whether the Dashpivot chart is a Quantity, Frequency, or Ratio chart.

Breakdown By

This controls how the data is grouped in the chart, such as by team, project, or form creator. By default, charts can be broken down by None, Created By, Project, or Team folder. If the selected template includes multiple choice or dropdown fields (outside of table fields), these can also be used for breakdowns.
If the template is a workflow, you can also break down data by Workflow Column.

  • Pie chart

  • Vertical bar chart

  • Horizontal bar chart
