How to set up photo tags on Dashpivot Web

Learn how to tag and classify photos captured in Dashpivot forms

Photo Tags in Dashpivot allow you to label and classify photos captured in forms, making them easier to filter, search, and review in Analytics and reports. This article explains how to set up Photo Tags in Dashpivot Web so photos can be consistently tagged across templates.

Prerequisites

Before you begin make sure you have the following:

  • Plan: Standard

  • Permission: Super User or DP Organisation roles (Admin or Controller)

  • Skills Required: Dashpivot Template Editing

  • Device Type: computer

  • Subscription: Dashpivot

Step-by-Step Instructions

Setting up Project Photo Tags:

  1. Navigate to the relevant project folder

  2. Click on Settings on the left hand navigation menu.

  3. Select Project Photo Tags

  4. Select Add tag group

    1. Note: You can create multiple groups of project/team photo tags

  5. Enter a group name

    1. Note: This is a name for the collection of tags you are creating. E.g Clients, States - not the actual tags themselves.

  6. Click into the text field labeled Type Tag to enter your tag

  7. Select Add or Enter (on your keyboard) to submit the tag

  8. If you need to remove a tag, click onto it & select Remove

  9. Once finished, click Save Changes

  10. To see the photo tags, navigate to a team folder within that project & go to the Photos section

Setting up Team Photo Tags:

  1. Navigate to the relevant team folder

  2. Click on the Photos tab at the top

  3. Select Edit, next to Team Photo Tags (on the left hand-side)

  4. This will direct you to the settings page to view/edit other tags

  5. Click Add Tag Group

    1. Note: You can create multiple groups of project/team photo tags

  6. Enter a group name

    1. Note: This is a name for the collection of tags you are creating. E.g Areas - not the actual tags themselves

  7. Click into the text field labeled Type Tag, and enter your tag

  8. Select Add or Enter (on your keyboard) to submit the tag

  9. If you need to remove a tag, click onto it & select Remove

  10. Once finished, click Save Changes

  11. To see the photo tags, navigate to a team folder & go to the Photos section

Adding/Deleting Photo Tags

Navigate back to the project/team photo tags settings page & select Actions. This will allow you to add/remove specific tags or delete the entire group.
