This article shows how to change a user’s permission level in Dashpivot by using the Users tab in the relevant folder.

Prerequisites

Before you begin make sure you have the following:

  • Plan Type: Any Dashpivot plan

  • Permission: Org Controller

  • Skills Required: Dashpivot user management skills

Step-by-Step Instructions

Before you begin make sure you have the following:

  1. Go to the home section of the relevant folder (Home Folder, Team Folder, or Project Folder).

  2. Click the Users tab.

  3. Each user’s permission level is displayed beside their name in the Permission column.

  4. Click the dropdown in the Permission column next to a user’s name.

  5. Select the desired permission.

    • Org Controller

    • Org Member

Note:
If you need to grant a user a higher access level than the folder they are currently in, you'll need to delete them from the current folder and add them at the desired folder level. For example, to change someone from a Project Controller to an Org Controller, delete them from the project folder and add them as an Org Controller in the Home Folder.
