Identify and fix issues caused by outdated browser cache.

Your browser stores temporary files (cache) to help pages load faster. Sometimes these files become outdated or corrupted, which can cause pages to display old content, buttons not working, or other unexpected issues when using Dashpivot Web, Gearbelt Web, or Flowsite. Clearing your cache forces your browser to load the latest version of the site.

What’s happening

When you visit a website, your browser saves files like images, scripts, and styles locally. If these cached files are outdated, you may:

  • See old or incorrect content

  • Experience broken buttons or missing features

  • Encounter formatting or loading issues

Clearing cache and cookies removes these stored files so your browser can fetch fresh data.

Why this happens

Common causes include:

  • A recent site update, but your browser is still using old cached files

  • Stored browser data interfering with page functionality
