How to Create Issues on Sitemate Mobile

Learn how to raise an issue against a Gearbelt asset to flag faults, defects, or maintenance needs.

Issues let your team flag problems with an asset, such as damage, faults, or missing components, so they can be tracked and resolved. You can raise issues directly from the asset profile in Sitemate Mobile.

Prerequisites

Before you begin make sure you have the following:

  • Plan: All Plan Types

  • Permission: Gearbelt Contributor

  • Skills Required: Gearbelt Navigation

  • Device Type: Mobile Device

  • Subscription: Gearbelt

Step-by-Step Instructions

  1. Open the asset by scanning the QR code or tapping the asset in My Assets.

  2. Tap the green floating button with the “+” icon in the Activity tab.

  3. Tap Create Issue.

  4. Fill out the issue and tap Submit.

Notes

  • The submitted issue will appear under the asset's Issues tab and in the Activity tab in the asset profile.
