You can export user data from your workspace directly to a CSV file. This feature allows you to download a complete list of users with their details and permissions, making it easier to perform audits, track licenses, and manage user access without needing to contact support.

You can export users at different levels of your workspace hierarchy, including the home folder, projects, and teams.

You can export users from four user type tabs:

  • Dashpivot Contributors - Internal staff members with visibility and control over processes (paid license)

  • Dashpivot Visitors - External workers/parties who collaborate or need access to records (free, unlimited) (Coming soon)

  • Sitemate Free - Users who download the Sitemate App and Digital ID to signoff/submit forms (free, unlimited) (Coming soon)

  • Sitemate Paid - Users who signoff, submit and review forms in the Sitemate App with ongoing access (paid license) (Coming soon)

The export includes the same columns displayed in the user table view.

Who Can Export Users

The ability to export users is available to controllers only, based on their permission level:

Controller Level

What They Can Export

Org Controller

All users across the workspace (home, projects, and teams)

Project Controller

Users within their project and any teams under that project

Team Controller

Users within their team only

Members without controller permissions cannot export user data.

Step-by-Step Instructions

To export users to CSV, follow these steps:

  1. Navigate to the Users page in your workspace at the home, project or team folder level (depending on your permissions)

  2. Select the user type tab you want to export (Dashpivot Contributors, Dashpivot Visitors, Sitemate Free, or Sitemate Paid)

  3. Select the users you want to export by clicking the checkbox next to each user, or use Select All to select all active users in the table

  4. Click the Download CSV button in the top left of the table header

  5. A new window will open showing the export progress

  6. Once the export is ready, the window will display "Download Ready"

  7. Click the Download button to save the CSV file to your device

What's Included in the Export

Notes & Tips

  • Large exports: For workspaces with many users, the export may take a few moments to process. Keep the export window open until the download is ready.
