How to Create a New Workspace on Dashpivot Web

Learn how to create a new workspace on Dashpivot Web.

Workspaces in Dashpivot are separate environments used to manage teams, projects, data, and settings. Creating a new workspace allows eligible teams to manage multiple Dashpivot workspaces that are linked to the same Sitemate Start account.

Prerequisites

Before you begin make sure you have the following:

  • Plan type: Dashpivot plans other than the Standard Dashpivot plan

  • Permissions: Org Controller

  • Access to Dashpivot Web via a browser

Step-by-Step Instructions

  1. Sign in to Dashpivot Web.

  2. In the top-left corner, select Switch workspace.

  3. Review the list of workspaces you currently have access to.

  4. Select Create workspace.

    • This option is only available to users with Org Controller permissions.

  5. Enter the workspace name.

    • You will see a message confirming the new workspace will be linked to the same Sitemate Start account.

  6. Select Create workspace to continue.

  7. (Optional) Upload a logo for the workspace.

    • The logo appears on forms and in the top-left corner of the workspace.

  8. (Optional) Select a brand colour.

    • Logo file requirements are shown on screen.

    • These settings can be updated later.

  9. Select the industry and role that best describe your company.

    • This helps tailor template and feature recommendations.

  10. Select Next.

Notes

  • Creating a new workspace is not available on the Standard Dashpivot plan.

  • New workspaces are linked to the same Sitemate Start account.

  • You are automatically added as an Org Controller for the new workspace.
