Assigning a schedule plan to an asset in Gearbelt ensures inspections, maintenance, and recurring tasks run automatically based on defined conditions. Schedule plans are deployed through the Deployment tab of an asset, allowing schedules to trigger when specific asset criteria are met.
Prerequisites
Before you begin make sure you have the following:
Plan: Pro
Permission: Gearbelt Contributor
Skills Required: Gearbelt Navigation
Device Type: computer
Subscription: Gearbelt
Step-by-Step Instructions
Ensure you have already created a schedule plan.
Go to the Deployment section.
Click Create Rule.
Enter a Rule Name for the schedule plan.
Update the asset condition in the IF dropdown menu.
Select the applicable asset condition:
Asset Type
Asset Tag
Asset Category
Asset Manufacturer
Asset Model
Asset Location
Under Schedule, choose the schedule plan you previously set up.
Click Save.
Your schedule plan is now deployed. It will automatically trigger whenever the asset meets the conditions defined in your rule.
