Regularly updating asset readings in Gearbelt Web ensures you are working with the most up-to-date usage information for your equipment. Keeping readings current helps you monitor performance, identify potential issues early, and plan maintenance effectively, while ensuring your team always has access to accurate data.

Step-by-Step Instructions
Open Gearbelt Web and select Assets from the left-hand menu.
Select the asset you want to update.
Select the Reading Logs tab on the left-hand side menu. You will see the previous logs for the asset.
Click Create Reading Log.
In the Create Reading Log drawer, select a Unit.
Enter the reading.
In the Create Reading Log drawer, select a Unit.
Enter the reading.
Note
You will see the latest reading for reference. A warning will appear if the entered reading is more than 20% higher or lower than the previous reading.
