Regularly updating asset readings in Gearbelt ensures you’re working with the most up-to-date information about your equipment. This helps you monitor performance, spot potential issues early, and plan maintenance, while making sure your team always sees the latest data.

Prerequisites
Before you begin make sure you have the following:
Gearbelt Web access
A web browser (e.g., Chrome, Edge)
Step-by-Step Instructions
Open Gearbelt Web and select Assets from the left-hand menu.
Select the asset you want to update.
Select the Reading Logs tab on the left side menu. You will see the previous logs of the asset.
Click the Create Reading Log button.
In the Create Reading Log drawer, select a Unit.
Enter the reading.
Note: You will also see the latest reading for reference. A warning appears if the entered reading is more than 20% above or lower than the previous reading.
