Adding assets to your Gearbelt workspace allows you to keep your records accurate as your fleet grows or when assets were not included during your initial setup. Creating a new asset ensures it can be managed, tracked, and assigned a QR code within Gearbelt. This guide outlines the steps to create a new asset in your workspace.
Prerequisites
Before you begin make sure you have the following:
Plan: All Plan Types
Permission: Gearbelt Contributor
Skills Required: Gearbelt Navigation
Device Type: computer
Subscription: Gearbelt
Step-by-Step Instructions
Access the Assets section under the Admin section in the left-hand side navigation menu.
Select Create Asset.
In the Create Asset drawer, enter the asset details.
Select Save in the bottom right corner of the screen.
