Locations in Gearbelt help teams track where assets are stored, used, or serviced. Keeping location information up to date ensures accurate asset tracking, correct site assignments, and reliable records for maintenance and operations. You can update location details such as the location name, address, map radius, and contact emails whenever changes occur.
Prerequisites
Before you begin make sure you have the following:
Plan: All Plan Types
Permission: Gearbelt Contributor
Skills Required: Gearbelt Navigation
Device Type: computer
Subscription: Gearbelt
Step-by-Step Instructions
Select the location you want to update in your Locations list.
This will open the Overview section for that specific location.
Update any of the recorded details such as the location name, address, map radius, or contact emails.
Click the green Save button to save your changes.
