Dashpivot Web allows Org Controllers to configure the header and footer that appear on exported PDFs. This enables consistent branding, inclusion of company details, and structured document formatting across all form exports. Header and footer settings are managed within the Template Editor.
Prerequisites
Before you begin make sure you have the following:
Plan: Standard, Pro, Premium, or Platinum
Permission: Org Controller, Project Controller, Team Controller
Skills Required: Dashpivot Navigation
Device Type: computer
Subscription: Dashpivot Web
Step-by-Step Instructions
In Dashpivot Web, open the template you want to update.
Open the Template Editor.
In the Template Editor header/footer area, locate the Header/Footer Editor.
Add, remove or reorder the fields you want shown in the PDF header and footer.
Click Align to configure the alignment left, center, or right.
Use the Preview tab to see how the updated header/footer will appear.
Click Save to apply your changes.
Configuring Folder Name in Header and Footer
Drag and drop the Folder Name field as needed (you can add it multiple times if required in both header and footer).
Click Align to configure the alignment left, center, or right.
Use the dropdown in the field to select either Project or Team.
Review the changes in the form preview and confirm it appears correctly in exported PDFs.
Click Save in the Template Editor.
Notes
Header and footer settings apply to PDF exports generated from the configured template.
Changes made in the Home Folder apply to all deployments of that template.
Changes made within a Team Folder apply only within that folder.
A “-” will appear in the preview if no project or team is defined yet (for example, when created at the home folder level).
Available header and footer elements include:
Logo (workspace logo)
Filepath (Workspace, Project, Team)
Folder Name
Template ID (editable in Template Settings)
Template Version
Form Version
PDF Creation Date and Time
PDF Page Number
PDF Export Disclaimer
Prefilled text (up to 24 characters including spaces)
Prefilled image (useful for displaying a second logo)
