New Workspace Update

Guideline for when your business is moving into a new workspace in Dashpivot

What should happen while the workspace is moved:

If you are not online:

  • Your mobile device will automatically update and you will see the new workspace in your account, it should look and feel exactly the same.

If you are logged in while your workspace is moved:

  1. You may see an error saying "you do not have access to this project or active folders"

  2. Please allow an hour for us to move the data and re-add your user to the new workspace. All completed data will be copied across, please do not submit any new forms during this time.

  3. Once you are re-added to the new workspace, the app will automatically update and move you into the new workspace, which should look and feel exactly the same.

  4. You should not be logged out on the app or desktop

The above requires your mobile device to:

  • Have access to mobile data or wifi

  • Have automatic updates turned on (mobile device setting)

On Desktop you will need to select "Switch Workspace" and navigate to the new workspace.

​Troubleshooting Issues:

  1. I've been logged out, what do I do next?

    1. Try logging in using your Dashpivot user email. If you do not know your password, select 'Forgot your password?' below the email and password field. You will be sent an email to update your password.

  2. I'm getting an error message saying "You don't have access to any active folders."

    1. Please select the menu in the top left corner, which looks like this:

    2. Select "Switch Workspace" and navigate to the new workspace

  3. My app isn't updating automatically

    1. Please select the top right hand menu (under your initials) and select 'Download Changes'
      ​

  4. I don't have access to the same folders as before or a template or item is missing

    1. Please contact your systems administrator to be re added to any missing project folders and inform them of any missing data

  5. How do I know if I have been successfully moved?

    1. If you can't tell the difference we have done our job well (pat on the back to us),

    2. However you can check by selecting the top left menu and checking the workspace name is the correct one
