How to fix email notifications ending up in spam

Learn how to prevent email notifications from being marked as spam so you can reliably receive system emails

Written by Adriana De Souza

If email notifications from Sitemate, Dashpivot, or Gearbelt are being delivered to your spam or junk folder, you can update your email settings to ensure future notifications are received in your inbox. This helps ensure you do not miss important updates, actions, or system alerts.

Step-by-Step Instructions

  1. Check your Spam or Junk folder for the missing email notification.

  2. Open the email from Sitemate, Dashpivot, or Gearbelt.

  3. Select Not Spam or Mark as Not Junk (wording may vary depending on your email provider).

  4. Add the sender’s email address to your Contacts or Safe Senders list.

  5. If your organisation uses an IT-managed email system, contact your IT administrator and request that the sender domain be allowlisted.

Future notifications should now be delivered to your inbox instead of your spam folder.
