What user permissions are available for Dashpivot Contributors?

Learn about the different Dashpivot Contributor permission levels and what each role can access in your workspace.

The Dashpivot Contributor user type provides access to your Dashpivot workspace, with six permission levels available depending on the access required.


1. Team Member

Team Members have standard permissions within the specific team folders they’re added to. They can:

  • Upload photos, add comments, and apply tags

  • Create forms using any template in the team folder

  • Delete their own photos

  • Delete their own forms

  • View analytics charts

Note: Team Members can only delete content they’ve created. They can’t delete other users’ photos or forms.


2. Team Controller

Team Controllers have all Team Member permissions, plus they can:

  • Add new templates

  • Add or remove Team Members

  • Manage team settings (including team photo tags)

  • Delete any photo uploaded in the team folder

  • Delete any form created in the team folder

  • Add or remove other Team Controllers


3. Project Member

Project Members have the same permissions as a Team Member, across all team folders within a project. They can:

  • Upload photos, add comments, and apply tags in each team folder

  • Create forms using any template in each team folder

  • Add, edit, and remove project list items

  • Delete their own photos

  • Delete their own forms

  • View analytics charts in each team folder

Note: Project Members can only delete content they’ve created.


4. Project Controller

Project Controllers have the same permissions as Team Controllers across all team folders within a project. In addition, they can:

  • Add or remove team folders

  • Add or remove Team Controllers in each team folder

  • Manage project settings, including:

    • Project lists

    • Project alignment (KML)

    • Project photo tags

  • Add or remove other Project Controllers


5. Org Member

Org Members have standard permissions across the organisation. They can:

  • Upload photos, add comments, and apply tags in each team folder

  • Create forms using any organisation template

  • Add, edit, and remove organisation list items

  • Delete their own photos

  • Delete their own forms

  • View analytics charts at both organisation and team level

Note: Org Members can only delete content they’ve created.


6. Org Controller

Org Controllers have the highest level of access. They have the same permissions as Project Controllers across all organisation projects. In addition, they can:

  • Add or remove project folders

  • Add or remove Project Controllers

  • Add or remove Org Controllers

  • Add, edit, and remove templates in the organisation’s Template Library

  • Manage template tabs and template deployment across team folders

  • Add, edit, and remove Lists in the organisation’s List Library

  • Manage list deployment across project folders

  • Manage organisation settings (including the organisation’s logo and brand colour)

Each permission level builds on the one below it, giving you flexibility to control access at the team, project, or organisation level.
