How to Change the Headers of Your Forms on Dashpivot Web

The information displayed in the headers of your forms is standardised and appears on all forms created in Dashpivot. While some header elements can be customised, others are system-controlled to maintain document control and traceability. This guide outlines which header components can and cannot be modified.

Prerequisites

Before you begin make sure you have the following:

  • Plan: All Plan Types

  • Permission: Org Controller

  • Skills Required: Dashpivot

  • Device Type: computer

  • Subscription: Dashpivot

Step-by-Step Instructions

Customisable Header Elements

  1. To change your Company Logo, go to Home Folder > Settings and upload or update your logo.

  2. To change the Brand colour (the line separating the header from the body), go to Home Folder > Settings and adjust the brand colour.

  3. To change the Project and Team name shown in the header, update the folder name in the sidebar.

  4. To change the Template ID, open the template, go to the Settings tab, and edit the Template ID.

  5. To modify Prefilled Text, edit the text field in the header (maximum 24 characters, including spaces and symbols).

  6. To add or update a Prefilled Image, upload an image to the header image field.


Header Elements That Cannot Be Modified

  • Meta Data (cannot be removed; used for document control and traceability)

  • Template Version (automatically updates when the template is edited and saved)

  • Form Version (automatically updates when a form is edited and saved)

  • PDF Creation Date and Time (automatically updates when a PDF export is triggered)

  • PDF Page Number (automatically generated based on form length)

  • PDF Export Disclaimer (“Printed version is uncontrolled”)
