When someone scans a Sitemate QR code, one of two things happens depending on whether they have the Sitemate Mobile App installed:
If you have the Sitemate Mobile App installed
The QR code opens the Sitemate app directly and loads the associated form in your Forms section — ready to fill out and submit.
If you don't have the Sitemate Mobile App installed
Your smartphone opens a web page in your browser displaying the form link and a button to install the Sitemate app. From here you have two options:
Option A: Submit via Sitemate Mobile Web (no app required)
Scan the QR code on the poster — Sitemate Mobile Web opens in your browser.
Fill out the form and submit.
Option B: Download the Sitemate Mobile App
Tap the install button to download the free Sitemate app (available on iOS and Android, including tablets).
Once installed, create a profile.
Open the app and enter the form link or scan the QR code via the Home screen or the green + button.
Once submitted, the associated templates will appear in your Forms section for future submissions.
📓 Note: If you already have the Sitemate app and an active profile, scanning the QR code automatically opens the app and loads the associated form.
