When someone scans a Sitemate QR code, their smartphone opens a web page in their browser. This page displays the form link and includes a button to install the Sitemate app.
When you scan a QR code for the first time, you will be prompted to install a free Sitemate app (available on iOS and Android, including tablets). Once installed, you will have to create a profile.
After installing the app, the user can:
Open the Sitemate app
Enter a link or Scan QR code via the Home screen or by tapping the green + button
Once the link is submitted, the associated templates will appear in their Forms section, where they can start filling out and submitting forms.
Note
If the user already has the Sitemate app and an active profile, scanning the QR code will automatically open the app and load the associated forms in their Forms section.
