Does Sitemate support physical (printed) ID cards?

Learn whether Sitemate supports printed ID cards for workforce identification.

Written by Sam

Sitemate provides a digital ID solution designed for workforce and site use. It works alongside the Dashpivot Mobile App for scan and sign processes.

Sitemate does not support physical cards or the printing of ID cards, as it is designed to function as a digital ID via the Sitemate Mobile App.

How It Works

  • Workers download and use the Sitemate Mobile App as their digital ID.

  • The app integrates with the Dashpivot Mobile App for scan and sign site processes.

  • Digital IDs can be used across sites without requiring printed materials.

My workforce doesn't have phones

We are aware that not all members of the workforce have smartphones. At this stage, due to the relatively small % on an average site where a worker does not have a phone, it is not feasible for us to invest in infrastructure to support physical cards.

My workforce doesn't want to use the digital ID

Privacy is important! Your data isn't used anywhere outside of the app.

  • If some workers do not have smartphones, physical cards are not currently supported as an alternative.

  • The Sitemate Mobile App does not track location.

  • Users own their data and can delete it at any time.

  • There are no fees for the digital ID, and data is not sold or distributed outside its intended site use.

Why Use Digital Instead of Physical Cards?

Advantages of digital IDs:

  • Managed directly by the workforce

  • Cannot be lost or damaged

  • No printing or replacement costs

  • Universal use across sites

  • Integrates with site documentation

Disadvantages of physical cards:

  • Can be shared between crews

  • Frequently lost or damaged

  • Do not integrate with digital site processes
