How to auto-save completed forms to a worker's Sitemate Wallet

Learn how to turn on auto-save for a template so that completed forms are automatically saved to a worker's Sitemate Wallet when they submit them in the Sitemate app.

Written by Nina Yang

Auto-save forms to Sitemate Wallet saves a copy of a completed form to the worker's Sitemate Wallet automatically when they submit it in the Sitemate app. Workers keep their own record of it — ready to produce again at the next site.

It's best suited to forms workers are asked to show again — inductions, VOCs, and competency records.

📓 Note: Forms only auto-save to the Wallet when the worker completes them using the Sitemate app. Forms completed in Dashpivot Web or Dashpivot Mobile are not saved to the Wallet.

Prerequisites

Before you begin make sure you have the following:

  • Plan: All Plans

  • Permission: Org Controller

  • Skills Required: Dashpivot

  • Device Type: Computer/browser

Notes:

  • Auto-save only applies to forms completed in the Sitemate app. A form completed in Dashpivot Web or Dashpivot Mobile is not saved to a worker's Wallet, even with the setting turned on.

  • The setting appears on every template (e.g Timeline or Workflow), including templates with no Sitemate Wallet field.

How the saved form appears to the worker

When a worker then complete’s a form in the Sitemate app, a copy is saved to their Sitemate Wallet automatically and appears under Saved Forms in the Wallet tab, alongside their cards.

The copy is read-only and is a snapshot of the form as it was submitted

Notes

  • Workers can also save a form to their Wallet themselves from the Activity tab, without this setting turned on.

  • Workers can remove a saved form from their own Wallet.

  • Turning the setting off later doesn't remove forms already saved to a worker's Wallet.

FAQs

Does auto-save work for forms completed on Dashpivot Web or Dashpivot Mobile?
No — auto-save only applies when the worker completes the form using the Sitemate app.

Does the setting need to be on for the worker to save forms to their Wallet?
No — workers can also save forms manually from the Activity tab at any time, without the setting enabled. See How to Save Forms to Your Wallet in Sitemate Mobile.

What happens if I turn the setting off later?
Forms already saved to workers' Wallets are not removed. The setting only controls whether new form submissions auto-save going forward.

Yes — the setting is available on all template types including Timeline and Workflow templates, and on templates with no Sitemate Wallet field.
