  4. Adjust the action thumbnail settings to control how the action preview appears.

  6. Save the template to apply the changes.

Action thumbnail settings

Action thumbnail settings control the information shown on the thumbnail when viewing actions in the workflow view, My Actions tab, when there are actions created within forms, as well as in notification emails. You can display up to 5 pieces of information on the thumbnails.

The information can be one of the following field types:

  • Text field (single line only)

  • Date field (including non‑timezone‑aware date fields)

  • List field (Multiple Choice / Dropdown)

  • Person field

These settings apply to everyone who can access the Actions template and also update on the mobile app.

Action sorting settings

Action sorting settings control the order in which actions are shown. By default, actions are ordered by Action Due Date. Actions that don't have a Due Date entered are ordered by their Creation Date.

You can change this to sort actions by a different date field or a single line text field included in the Actions template, including non‑timezone‑aware date fields.
